I saw the pitch invasion and Pedro's celebration in the highlights... am i missing something? was it not just a nothing game against Partick? **** me, they were acting like they had won the bloody league! Embarrassing really! Mind you, this lot have been through the mill, so a 5 year old club beating a big top 6 side like that probably meant something to them!

Celebrating like that is fine if it means something, but the league is over, 2nd was pretty much gone, binned in both cups, had a pish season by their expectations and beating Partick in a last minute winner was classed as something magical... bizarre.

it reminded me of Mcmoists celebration when the to be deid club, beat Celtic in 2012 in a nothing game!

Former Rangers chief executive Martin Bain received a bonus for his role in the club's sale, a court has heard.

Mr Bain, who was on a committee of directors set up to assess takeover bids on behalf of shareholders in the club, was paid £360,000.

The details emerged during an 11th day of evidence at the High Court in Glasgow where Craig Whyte is accused of a fraudulent acquisition of Rangers.

He denies a charge of fraud and another under the Companies Act.

Chartered accountant and former Rangers director Michael McGill said Mr Bain's role in the deal was "limited", but that he had a contractual arrangement in place.

During cross-examination by Craig Whyte's defence QC, Donald Findlay, Mr McGill was asked: "£360,000 for what?"

Mr McGill replied: "He had a long-standing arrangement with the Murray Group, entered into some years before."

Aye, just when you thought this situation couldn't get any weirder we get Sheep and Tims cheering on Donald Findlay QC as he tears David Murray a new arsehole on the stand.

    Pure comedy gold.

They hope by withdrawing from the development league they can get glamour friendlies. Aye good luck with that phoning around clubs looking for a team to come to murray park and play a bunch of 17 year olds. Deluded. I hope if they phone other clubs in scotland for a game they are told to f@ck right off.

Do they have the funds to take these kids to england or Europe every 2 weeks? Flights, overnight stays? No, they will expect teams to come to them. Deluded. They would need an operating budget for the under 20's larger than the 1st team. Deluded.

Jesus Christ what f*cking website is that? Jim Traynor's personal blog?

If you believe that article then Leipzig and Bayern must be queuing up in Frankfurt airport to get to Glasgow and help the mighty Bears train their kids up ready to take home the 2021 Champions League...

In reality they're likely to be sporadically taking a minibus down to Kidderminster, Blackpool and the like.

John Alexander's nae bad album Of These Lands is on the review pile just now, and I stuck it in the CD player on a trip to Banffshire yesterday.

I did a lug double take on the chorus of this though.

On the CD, I'm convinced he's singing "Sevco curses". If so, I hope he brings a million bad spells doon on their slopey heids, the ****ing ****s.
