I could get angry about the terrorist scum targeting civilians, including their own, but what's the point, it's what terrorist scum, it's why they're called terrorist scum.

Going back to my post the four squaddies and their ilk should be let loose on Hamas. "Cockroaches" need stamping on is what one of them said.

In an earlier post I said the "rats' nest needs clearing out" but all of us agreed not at the expense of defenceless kids and civilians.

Bibi needs to send a cheque down to Hereford and let that lot loose in the tunnels of Gaza. Problem solved within a week.

CiB is right, what an appalling ****-hole this country has turned into, and not accidentally.

I know that you and me differ greatly on this issue mon ami, but I see a lot of hyperbole and not much evidence of anti-Semitism rearing its ugly head here in the UK.

3 million British Muslims are obviously not happy with the Muslim Brotherhood being bombed to bits in Gaza by the Jews and the unprecedented slaughter and land grabbing on the West Bank is clearly not going down too well either.

I still see no equivalent of Kristallnacht being acted out here in the UK and hopefully the alleged anti-Semitic rhetoric will die down now that Rishi has grown a pair and got rid of Braverman.

You hire a pair of eejits and this is what you get and it can only get worse somehow Cameron is back in the fold.

    WTF?

The 'Heir to Blair' is back, another Remainer back in the fold. The Torygraph has run a poll on whether their readers thought Braverman should have been sacked, 65% were on her side. Rishi has just knocked another nail into the coffin of the Not the Conservstive Party.

Oh dear! Land grabbing on the West Bank or its rightful name Judea and Samaria. Just who is land grabbing??

According to the biblical narrative, as far back as one can go in Jewish history, Judea defined the land south of Jerusalem and Samaria the land to the north. It was in Judea that Abraham purchased the Machpelah cave in Hebron—the first Jewish-owned property in the Promised Land—as the burial site for Sarah.

Judea and Samaria is the heartland of Israel. From ancient Israelite kingdoms to today's State of Israel, for more than 3,000 years this land has been a major hub of Jewish activities. The term Judea and Samaria serves as another name for the West Bank in Israel.
Although largely expelled during the Roman period, and although the territory was renamed Palestina by the Romans, the Jewish people never abandoned their claim and intention to return to their historic homeland.

The area subsequently came under the control of the Roman Empire. Following Jewish revolts in 67-70 AD and 132 – 135 AD Jerusalem was destroyed and many of the Jewish inhabitants were forced into exile. The Roman Empire also ordered that the name of the country be changed to Palaestina (or Palestina).

Subsequently, a succession of different regimes ruled the Land of Israel, still called Palestina. These included Roman and Byzantine rule until 614 AD; Persian rule from 614 – 629 AD; Byzantine rule from 629 - 638 AD; Rashidun and Umayyad Caliphs from 638 – 750 AD; Abbasid Caliphs from 750 – 970 AD; Fatimid Caliphs from 970 – 1099 AD; Crusaders from 1099 – 1187 AD (and until 1291 AD in Acre); and Mamluk
    rule from 1291 – 1517 AD.

In 1517 AD, the Land of Israel was conquered by the Ottoman Turks. The Turkish Empire would rule the region for almost 400 years, with some interregnums, as part of an extensive empire until its demise as a consequence of the First World War.
