Average attendance comparisons between this season and the pre-lockdowns season

    Premier League
    2019/20 - 29.821
    2021/22 - 39.393

    Championship
    2019/20 - 14.949
    2021/22 - 16.290

    League One
    2019/20 - 8.802
    2021/22 - 9.604

    League Two
    2019/20 - 4.687
    2021/22 - 4.645

    National League
    2019/20 - 2.174
2021/22 - 3.017 *This figure does not include the first few weeks' attendances

So these figures would suggest the 1,700 increase at Meadow Lane this season is largely due to a post lockdown factor. Doing away with the frustrating football under Ardley will have probably contributed, but to a lesser extent.

Please be careful in your posts.

There will be those who come on here later and say that the only reason we won was that they had a dodgy keeper.

    Don't feed them!

Just giving a balanced not biased view on what I saw m_m.

Obviously I realise that I saw the online highlights showing the goals multiple times and with the addition of a slow motion reply, so can't judge the goalkeeper as well as someone sat watching in the ground in real time.

A combination of match reports fr my trusted sauces in the ground and comments on NCM it can be summarised as we could have scored 9-12 goals albeit 3-4 were the GK fault and Barnet scored 1 but could have scored 3-4.

    3 points.

Goalie at fault for the first 4 goals and, in my opinion, could have done so much better with the 5th and 6th goals. Notts only had 9 attempts on target so a 66.67% hit rate is v fortuitous. 5 corners compared to Barnet’s 8 in the match and I also recall listening to the commentary that 15 seconds into the second half Barnet missed a sitter which would have made it 3-1 and game v much on. Clearly Notts were lucky to win.

    Happy with that MM 👍
