So these figures would suggest the 1,700 increase at Meadow Lane this season is largely due to a post lockdown factor. Doing away with the frustrating football under Ardley will have probably contributed, but to a lesser extent.
Just giving a balanced not biased view on what I saw m_m.
Obviously I realise that I saw the online highlights showing the goals multiple times and with the addition of a slow motion reply, so can't judge the goalkeeper as well as someone sat watching in the ground in real time.
A combination of match reports fr my trusted sauces in the ground and comments on NCM it can be summarised as we could have scored 9-12 goals albeit 3-4 were the GK fault and Barnet scored 1 but could have scored 3-4.
3 points.
Stats now up . . . https://www.nottscountystats.com/pos...ch-31-barnet-h
Goalie at fault for the first 4 goals and, in my opinion, could have done so much better with the 5th and 6th goals. Notts only had 9 attempts on target so a 66.67% hit rate is v fortuitous. 5 corners compared to Barnet’s 8 in the match and I also recall listening to the commentary that 15 seconds into the second half Barnet missed a sitter which would have made it 3-1 and game v much on. Clearly Notts were lucky to win.
Happy with that MM 👍
God bless Lady Luck.
