Now you know my story Howdy.
I’m me, Roly. I have no desire to be labelled. Whilst it is an interesting read, I didn’t have the time to get to page 10. Page 1 confirmed my view of things, which is that we have a ‘working class of the mind’ in this country. That accords with my experience of some of the people who I meet in my work and who choose to be dependent upon the state as opposed to seeing what they could do if they tried to better their lot. I wouldn’t like to say how common that mindset is or that the people who I meet are 'typical' of anything, but I detect it quite often.

There are a lot of people who have been brought up on a culture of claiming benefits. Teachers see the parents daily (I hear this on a regular basis).

How do you stop this? You have to stop incentivising people to have more children. There are some real scum bags who seem to like having plenty of children. It really isn't difficult not to have one.

    Type C for me Roly.

Would love society to look after layers 2 and 3 from the bottom. That’s where the core working class and decent people are. These are the people who get a raw deal but they’re having a good go. Help them by all means.

Anyone in the bottom layer, who has a decent IQ and are healthy, I don’t have a lot of time for, I’m afraid. Not the elderly (scumbags get old though), the sick and the mentally ill. Give them all the help they need.

Give the free loaders and scumbags £5k each to be sterilised and stop having a lot of babies.

I’d pay another 2p income tax for that.

    Have a nice weekend.

I don't think we are too far apart Howdy. At least you recognise some good people get a raw deal.

Might argue who the scumbags and freeloaders are though...

Have a good un yourself including 3 points for the Millers of course.

JUst because people don't like socialism in your view doesn't mean to say they like capitalism either does it?

As regards your view of socialism, you cannot apply what happens in South America and Eastern Europe to what happens in the UK. Cultures and political cultures are very different because of the nature of the beast. Socialism is a broad church and it evolves and changes. I think the criticism of capitalism by Marx is still very valid but I would argue that we don't have the same class set up as it was at the time Marx wrote about it. None the less as i have always argued on here there is still a divide between rich and poor which needs addressing.

Come on you only have to look at p10 its not rocket science! 4 chuffin diagrams man! Give us a roughy at least! I don't need to label you I can guess where you are by the comments you have just made to me among the 1000s of others.

Would you at least agree I look like a B/C (be polite ...) with my views on here?

There isn't a completely level playing field, but that isn't an excuse for the not trying that I see.

Marx described religion as the opiate of the masses. That's because he hadn't encountered the welfare state
