Genuinely interested to see how Macca does at Championship level. He's made the step up twice recently, but the gulf in class between L2 and the Championship is huge. I can see him bagging a few, but I can equally see him not cutting it and ending up in L1 in a year or two.

I don’t expect anyone thought he would be more prolific playing in a higher league against better defenders.
He still finished the top scorer and won the golden boot, not bad really.

There was no Matty Palmer. More players had to work on the defensive aspects. He certainly made the step up. Great guy with good honest modest attitude. As I said earlier I don't feel he's suited to the likes of Millwall. But can't blame him for wanting to move to 2nd tier after not long playing in 6th tier. Good luck to him.
