Nae particularly, but it irk's me the way some fans seem to forget the total incompetence of our board over the years and it's staggering that any of us would think they could actually get something right in regards their duty of care toward the club.
I'm beginning to think that everyone who doesn't like Milne and the decisions made, no longer give a toss about what happens to the club and can't be bothered with him or the club.
It's only the folk with blinkers on that think he 'saved' us and young fans who think the sun shines out of his arse because he swore after we won the league cup that seem to be left ...or those that are so desperate for a new stadium that they are willing to put the club at massive risk as well as millions in debt for an out of town stadium that will take any identity the city has with the club and put it in some town miles outside the city.

OLP - I think there is issues to be sorted out and may well be a mortgage at end of it for £10M. But the new stadium and set up wont have the £1M+ of annual maintenance. As such can be managed. Yes past history does not give you much faith on what can be delivered but i think the deal is a lot further down the line than they are letting on. I think we are in a position where this can happen. Milne has made mistakes but like those hopefully they are in the past. But i wont quite believe it until i see the stadium starting to be built. But just feels it will happen this time. - [quote="odins_left_peg"]Nae particularly, but it irk's me the way some fans seem to forget the total incompetence of our board over the years and it's staggering that any of us would think they could actually get something right in regards their duty of care toward the club.

[quote="odins_left_peg"]All these people saying 'Times change' need to realise that this move could kill the club.
The simple fact is that the club are lying to us and are not being honest regarding the funding. There is a reason why no one knows how it will be funded. Milne knows full well that a massive loan will be needed, if he released that to us, do you really think people would be on board with the project? He is trying to sweep it under the carpet.
As for Pittodrie being unable to be re-done, they have been saying that for 20 years, remember the subsidence problems with the south stand? We were told in 2000 that it was sinking 1cm a season and wouldn't be fit for purpose.
Trust in board, you say, well, how about 20 years to pay off £10 million, 40+ years to get a training ground built, 20+ years of flawed appointments leading to embarrassing results, selling off ground around pittodrie that was required for redevelopment of the stadium,

Please refrain from using redundant phrases such as "old firm"
I think it's fair to say that there is a divide between those who have to deal with getting to Pittodrie from the shire and those who don't and thus don't have to deal with the problems of getting in an out of the Pittodrie and all that it entails.
Speaking as someone who doesn't have to deal with any of it, it makes no difference to me where they put it.
I just think we're being lied to regarding Pittodrie & that the training facility is a smoke & mirrors job.
Your as bad as the weegia and the troglodytes that follow sevco if you refer to that game as the old firm.

No I will stick to old firm thanks. Yer beloved chairman agrees:
"Scottish football has to move on,” Milne said. ‘I think most people want to see our top clubs playing in the top league. We want to have the top league perceived in the best possible light. What’s happened in the past has happened. We all have to be focused on what can we do to take Scottish football forward.’"
Its strange he didn't have that attitude regarding Scottish Football when he sided with Celtic to continue the voting structure.
