The seethe on TDB forum is just getting under way, here's one example

A scenario I've been daydreaming about would see Hearts winning their case and promotion / relegation being cancelled. Over the summer, United commit a fortune on new players only to be denied promotion at the last minute.

    They then immediately go bust.

    Excellent stuff!

Had to laugh at this bit directed to the supporters from Hearts two millionth statement today - “Thank you for fighting for us, now allow us to do the same for you."

I think most Jambos would have preferred if the fighting had started back in August. Like, on the pitch.

Yip, that would have been the perfect time for a good battle. Shame they left it too late tho :/

When your team is going down (as we all know fine well) there is a horrible gut feeling that nothing can change the downward spiral, and I'm sure other clubs felt this too. Hearts must have known with their form that even adding an extension to the season was never going to help a team in a deep rut like they were in.

Most Hearts fans probably were resigned to their fate. It is getting really embarrassing now seeing folk clutching at straws that had fallen out of the half empty glasses ages ago .
