    No doubt in my mind Gray wanted to move to London. Fact is no club came in for him. Britt Assombalonga was our option should Gray have gone. There is no lack of ambition here. Basically a like for like signing, and we dragged it out in case Gray left. Gray could still go, but it's unlikely. Don't forget he was instrumental in our promotion, and still has lots to prove, especially if he wants a move to the smoke. That's what I believe, with no insider info amongst it, just common sense

    Sounds like a pretty fair appraisal of the situation to me.

    Seems reasonable to assume with Cork already in, reports of McArthur and Escalante "imminent" and Marney improving that Dyche gets his way and Defour exits? Hope I'm wrong because I quite like the cut of the Belgian's jib but TEC tells me differently...
