I wonder who's telling the Sun "they want him off the wage bill" or just makey up. I would fly from Spain to drive him to his airport of choice

can run wi the ball, take guys on and more importantly pass a pass, something we havent had since Aird
IMO as highlights reels go I don't think its that impressive - some square passes in midfield mostly, and against not great opposition

He has spent most of his career in Spanish third division. No indication that he has made it anywhere even at pretty poor clubs with support well below our level

If he impresses in training then great but not sure we should be greedy on this one ;-)

Because at the time, we needed a fit GK as backup in case Benji got injured. Deniz wasn't fit when we needed him to be.

But he was fit enough to sign for QoTS?

He signed for Qots on 31st March. We needed a fit GK on the 1st of January.

Not overly happy he'll be our no1 but it would've been better if we brought in a better goalie with Benji as back up.
I think we’ll see quite an improvement from him this season . As you say a lot of his early flaps at crosses were as much about decision making as anything. Having had time to work with the defence saw an improvement by the end of the season and think that will continue.

LS agree with an extent that he is not proven, but then neither were Sturrock, Narey, Holt, Kirkwood et al at any pro league level.

We have taken chances on proven players and many have let us down. Therefore prepared to give the man the benefit of fair trial. You win some, you lose some!
