We get it. But what else have to got in your locker?
What i expected is there to have been an improvement on the field since Burchnalls appointment
What i would have liked is for us to be in series contention for the top spot over the whole season, and if not to get 2nd or 3rd place to give us the best possible chance in the play offs
At least if there was some improvement results wise, i would be more optismistic that Burchanll would improve given time, yet i see him just repeating the same mistakes over and over
What i did not expect is scraping a play off place, with no improvement on any of the areas we need improvement, to date IB has shown no improvement in these areas, and i say it again for anybody that missed it lol, a more experienced manager with some success in this league would have been a far better option than Burchnall, and as of now this is shown to be the case

I expect a play off place as an absolute minimum, otherwise IB is to be sacked immediately at the end of the season if he fails to achieve this

We know all this, bar the last bit. Noted. We all want Notts to be higher, challenging Stockport and Chesterfield at the top. Shock. Horror.

You are just copy and pasting what you've said recently many many times. I know it saves time but it's the same thing.

You wanted a declining Richard Money 14 years after his managerial peak. Yay!

I agree we've gone abit down compared to before the called off Barnet game but I'm quite confident we'll go on another good run and finish in the playoffs. I believe IB has improved the squad and style of play but also its a gradual process and he's not finished yet. We are now trying to implement a style akin to the way football is going, no teams play long ball anymore, there isn't one, we need to step into the future. Sure some teams are more physical and energetic and this needs addressing but for one IB will know this as well. Give him chance to build something. Also the comparison with Ardley doesn't take into account just how hard this league has got this season.

Richard money was an example it does not have to be him
Actually he got Cambridge promoted from the National league in 2015
His last 2 clubs were near the bottom when he arrived, but this still does not change the fact he has experience in the National league with Luton , finished 2nd, and got Cambridge promoted, the Walsall promotion was from 2007

It is the owners responsibility to hire the best managers they can , perhaps they could use there football rador to identify one with the revelent experience and success at NL and L2

That lad Burchnall will never be any good at this level. Bloomin' PE teacher...

I'm even more lost for words that you're attempting to argue with cold, hard facts. Can't you give it a rest Davy old bean?

Facts are not optimism Davy. They're facts.

I am indeed an optimist and you are the forum's champion pessimist, therefore I guess facts shouldn't suit either of us, but these definitely suit me.

It is actually very hard to 'give up' facts. Well, for me anyway...
