Among the obvious names like Kaka (95), Ibrahimovic (35) and Iniesta (20) there are actually two players on that list with Notts links.

At number 62 is Mark Fotheringham. Was he ever really thought of that highly at Celtic? Certainly wasn't by our fans.

Then right up there at no 5 it's Jermaine Pennant. Who obviously made us a lot of money, but I'm not sure he ever actually played for our first team.
I think we rushed him into the first team when clubs were sniffing around to try and up the value of it went to tribunal. Thankfully Arsenal acted with a bit of grace and gave us a really good deal, other larger clubs were looking at taking him for peanuts

A few ex-Notts players in the goals yesterday: Kairo Mitchell scored for Rochdale against Eastleigh, and Zak Brunt scored 2 for Barnet - who are currently top of the National League (must admit, I’m following that league more closely than I thought I would, in the hope that Cheaterfield don’t get promoted).

Ruben was on the bench again yesterday but came on for an injury, wonder if he starts to regret his move.

He’s gone up two divisions, he needs time to get up to speed - literally. He seemed to be doing well in the pre-season friendlies, but obviously the pace is going to be much greater in competitive games. I’ll definitely be following Oxford’s results to see if he’s playing each week.

Apparently Cal Roberts is on the long term injury list again, you gotta feel for the lad.

Says it’s more the specialist getting it wrong and twice. I really feel for him he’s had an absolute terrible time the last couple of years just hope he keeps going.

Michael Petrasso has signed for Maidstone in the National League.

He's still only 28! Seems like a lifetime ago we had him on loan from QPR. At a time when we had a lot less flair players than we do now, I remember him being more exciting than most.
