I was very surprised to see Doidge linked to Dundee as he doesn't fit their signing profile of being an ex-colleague/mate of McPake.

Tony Watt, full name - Tony 'top flight leading scorer' watt (even then its only 9 goals), should at least win some free kicks and make the ball stick up top for us, and has hopefully matured and is coming into his prime, certainly not been prolific, but looking forward to seeing how he performs tomorrow.

They don't have a scouting network. Theyre feeding off crap. What they do have is journalists happy to feed them dodgy stories which raise their hopes. And they fall for it every time. A bit cruel tbh but it's to try and keep them feeling relevant. Remember they were going to sign Shankland, to a man they agreed it would be a brilliant signing, who did he sign for. Then Watt, there's quite a long list tbh.

I would have thought this too. But I have read a lot about those ITK supposedly saying his family id down south he wont sign for us going back to england etc. Then i have heard he has been so impressive in training we are keen to get him for season and see how he reacts after the kidney transplant. If that guy gets back playing football for anyone I will doth my cap to him

Likewise, although I'd say it looks like he has a decent pedigree. It's more a case of can he achieve the fitness level he'll need to compete in our league.

Not read all the posts lately about Kerr Smith.
First of all good luck to the lad, a great move for him and let's hope he has a great future ahead of him. Villa probably one of the best destinations for him.

This is the Academy working exactly as it should. Any disappointed fans need to remember the Academy has a big cost base and it has to be paid for. Sometimes that will mean a player being sold early, sometimes it'll mean a player going for more once established for a season or two.
In this case if we got in the region of 800k plus good add ons it's a very good bit of business.

Looks like we have some good young talent around the club, great to see this.
