Sad for you perhaps but millions would be happy...do you feel sad for the criminals you help put behind bars? Don't forget tory policies have created misery for millions of people in this country...

Actually on reflection, I am being a bit harsh on Boris like I said before he is only a buffoon idiot front man for the ERG so I would put those behind bars as well so he would have some pals in the clink.

    I do have a heart...

If millions would be happy seeing a democratically elected politician sent to prison for trying to do his job it doesn't say very much for this country.

We don't send people to prison for their political views, Roly. We aren't the Soviet Union, or Nazi Germany or Venezuela.

I sometimes feel terribly sorry for criminals who get sent to prison.

I just heard there was something in the Withdrawal Agreement on workers right. But, as I understand it, Johnson had it shifted to the Political Declaration.

The WA is legally binding, the PD is not. The feeling behind why hes moved it is for the UK to downgrade workers rights to be competitive in the US market.

Not my opinion - just what Im reading / hearing.

So Labour are saying they'll never get elected again so need to rely on the corporatist EU to protect workers' rights?

That's exactly the point I was making on morning that the deal key points were announced. Its being rather covered by the right by saying "why would we lower standards?" etc and that "we will raise our standards" to which the last 40 years would suggest otherwise of course

Tony Blair's immigration policies are what have created misery for millions in this country.

Month-long waits to see GPs, depressed wages for the working classes, unaffordable housing, increasing knife crime.

Presumable the point guys like Skinner are making is why shift it from WA if you dont intend doing anything with it.

So, to be clear, are you with Labour and Raging in arguing for a position where a body over which we would have no democratic control - the EU - would be making laws for the UK?
