If millions would be happy seeing a democratically elected politician sent to prison for trying to do his job it doesn't say very much for this country.

We don't send people to prison for their political views, Roly. We aren't the Soviet Union, or Nazi Germany or Venezuela.

I sometimes feel terribly sorry for criminals who get sent to prison.

I know Skinner is some what of a hero to Animal which is why I made the first post.

I have unmost respect for Animal in this debate. He has made it absolutely clear why he voted leave, did not lace it with falsehoods to enhance his position and never waivered from those beliefs.

I'm passionate about not being subjected to laws over which I have no prospect of exercising any democratic control. I thought that pretty clear from my posts.

You and Labour are happy to allow us to be subject to laws over which we will have no democratic control. That's fine, but I don't agree with you and won't, no matter how you dress it up.

Nope. Just heard summary of key changes on news. It's not rocket science to pick out the intention behind it and why, when the dep leader of the ERG heard of it said "this smells like brexit". We know what they want, and the EU laws stop them doing it.
