    3) his mindset that football is a game to avoid losing rather than to try winning
    4) his inexplicable formations and tactics that he suddenly tries out for no apparent reason
    5) passing notes around the pitch like he's actually got some top secret genius tactical change in mind - embarrassing
    6) going into "game management" mode as soon as we ever go into the lead, even if its after 5 minutes.
    7) Signing loads of players in the same position when there's a glaring need to sign someone in another position
    8) not giving young players a chance when they're on form in the U20s
    9) signing players he's never met in person (or probably ever seen playing judging by some of them)
    10) Having a loser mentality - spouts a load of excuses and looks at make believe positives even when we're utter garbage rather than just being honest and saying we were crap.
    11) persevering with Stevie May for 2 years.
    12) Signing Curtis Main.
    13) Playing Curtis Main.

I reckon I could give another 87 points on the list if I thought about it enough. The sad thing is until a couple of seasons ago I really did think he was doing a good job - I think he's just gone passed his sell by date and minus the key players who have left, he's been found out to be a pretty hopeless manager.
All good points. I would add Ryan Christie to the list. Taking a Celtic player on loan and giving him games and developing him as a player to the extent that he is now a regular with them was to absolutely no-ones benefit except Celtics.

Remember we almost signed him on the back of the loan deal.

Definitely up there for me. The equivalent of Celtic loaning Sevco a player in January.

Absolutely. Embarrasing diddy club behaviour on our part. "Please sir kind Mister Brendan, can we gave a wee shottie of your player"?

In the interests of fairness, he has done some things well

1 - He’s brilliant at not being Mark
    McGhee
2 - He showed how piss easy it was to replace the good shot stopper
    3 - He somehow won a trophy
4 - He delivers his post match interviews much better than Calderwood, despite them both saying the same sh1t
5 - He’s done wonders for Gilet sales

Who our captain is, is way down our list of problems.

The manager & his negative tactics & “let’s not lose” attitude are way higher.

If we were more positive & better on the eye, results would follow & this hot air about who should be captain would disappear

And we did benefit from having a top player at our disposal for 18 months, albeit not when playing the JJs.

And if they had signed John McGinn, Christie would be an AFC player now, fairly certain.

But I take your point. No Lewis Morgan on loan, or Johnny Hayes. Any subsequent deals with the vicTims have to be permies.

Yea that was really horrendous, embarrassing times when we were playing the best football in 25 years and made the Scottish Cup final, finishing with the highest ever points total outside the old firm. Terrible decision to take him on loan.
