Can you define scrap heap? Id like to see some justification for using that phrase.

I do not see many defending his actions in orchestrating his transfer, even more so after he was actually transferred and the couple of MK media based quotes came to light. I have seen context around it; wanting to earn more money being fine (which it is) etc.

It seems he did not handle it brilliantly, but that will be for him to reconcile with on a personal level.

I have mainly seen people defending his record as a footballer. A goal or assist every other game. That is what we have lost.

I am disappointed he has left and very disappointed with the way he handled it.

I can?t see where he has slagged us off though.

Of course you do but will it really? How?

The extremes at each end of the spectrum both deludedly positive and embarrassingly negative have very little influence.

Prediction league table is packed with happy clappers in the top 20. Doom mongers Warsop and Durham quite a lot further down. Happy clappers have the better grasp on reality as things stand.

I struggle to see the so called happy clappers being as extreme as the so called bedwetters.
Never seen anyone go over the top on here with any of the signings, probably the most praise was on Bass with our dire need for a keeper and him apparently being the best in the league. There are general comments like sounds decent and let?s see how they get on. I don?t think anyone?s either stuck their neck out and said we?re going to get autos where the likes of Stall who is pretty knowledgeable believes we should make top 3 if play to our abilities.

Vice versa some of the so-called bedwetters constantly calling for SMs head and also RMs at times along with writing off players who have hardly played and some that haven?t even put a foot on the pitch seems a lot more extreme to me.

It all depends on perspective, if you are negative enough then anybody else will appear a happy clapper.

I've not seen any mention of Crowley's eloquent goodbye post on Insta which came across pretty well I thought. Fair's fair.

Here it is in case anyone missed it...

"My time at Notts County has come to an end, this club will always have a special place in my heart and not just mine but my family’s. Playing football at Notts helped me fall in love with football again and for that I will be forever grateful. I want to thank both managers who have been amazing for me, all of the staff, all of the great players I had the pleasure of working with, some who I can call brothers. It has been a privilege and an honour to play and Captain at this great club. Finally I’d like to thank the fans, I have loved playing in front you every single week, hearing you sing my song is something I will cherish for ever. Thank you, I wish you nothing but the best ❤️"
