Bottom line with them is I'm afraid that whilst they speak of social concern with their fear of a Labour inspired economic crash, the real concern is that they own quite a few divvies...

...and there the nail is hit firmly on the head! Of course Kerr and GM don't want Labour in because they will have to cut back on an extravagance or two. They wouldn't be on the bread line though like many...What they don't really appreciate is many folks don't have any extravagances at all... do they care about that? Not one jot or it would reflect in their posts on here. I wouldn't mind if they had a sense of shame. How they sleep at night is beyond me...

Its a strange assertion to make Roly! its absurd to think that someones political beliefs mean they dont have any genuine concerns about poverty or other social issues.

    Disappointing you think this way

Cut down on an extravagance or two... Says the bloke who told this board that he could easily takes steps to reduce his impact on climate change, but chooses not to, presumably for fear of giving up some of his extravagances!

Aah, It never takes long – the bigotry of the Left. You don’t know me raging, but I disagree with aspects of your politics, so you pretend that you do.

You say that Rees-Mogg is at the extreme end of the Tory party and I would completely agree with you on social issues, in particular. Whilst my views are far from his on many things, however, I have always admired the way that he deals with the various Left mobs who turn up every now and then to hurl abuse at him or his children – he quietly debates. Labour on the other hand, has become a party that supplies the people who turn up to throw abuse at Rees-Mogg and his children and has become so intolerant of dissent that one its own MPs, needs police protection at the party conference. You should reflect on that when basking in your knowledge of your moral superiority.

I’m winding down to retirement and my income is not such that I would suffer much from the punitive personal taxation rates that Labour would introduce. I do fear the effect of Labour on the economy as a whole - poverty for the many, not the few

Hahaha, what a joker you are, talk about being ruled by the media, a media run by the very same folk promoting mogg..."labour a party that suppliesthe people who turn up to throw abuse at ree-smogg and his children"....as a supposed lawyer i think you'd advise anyone stating such to retract, a little bit slanderous i'd suggest....you've just confirmed the massive bubble you're obviously living in, what a sad act.

    More Left wing bigotry.

Are you saying that the people who abuse Rees-Mogg are extreme Lib Dem supporters?

I'm saying they have no connection to the labour party, as you stated, in a court of law, as you know you're on a loser....hahaha

The thing is Gm people who do genuinely care about poverty would surely back policies which tried to do summat about it. I'm not poverty struck myself but i am happy to have a bit less to help people worse off than myself thats why I prefer labour out of the parliamentary parties. I don't pretend they are perfect but they will fight more for the poor than the tories. The stuff about Corbyn being some sort of baby eating Stalinist inferred by the likes of Kerr is ridiculous to the extreme.

To be fair to you , I respect the fact that at least you nail your colours to the mast which is more than Kerr does for some inexplicable reason.
