And if we take that 2nd half performance forward with us today & beyond (and why shouldn't we?) I'm sure we'll end up nearer the middle of the table than the bottom.
It's given me that little bit of positivity that I hadn't had for weeks prior to Wednesdays game. I was beginning to think we'd lost our fight and confidence was rock bottom. Today will show if we're able to carry that fighting mentality over.

I didn’t see the game so need help from guys that did. What did he do that changed things?
Or did the same players just improve after the half time talk.

He finally realised that Nicky Clark wasn't a central midfielder and took him off. It's only taken him 7 games to realise this. Let's hope he's nowhere near the midfield today. And for all the grief Pawlett has taken over the years, his introduction was a big part in the game changing.

To give you an idea, we had 72% possession in the second half and 11 shots compared to Motherwells 5. Now it's easy to say they sat back on a 2-0 lead but they didn't. They still tried to attack us however there was a massive improvement in our own performance, not only in that game but from previous games. The fight is definitely still there.

Changes and motivation I'd say. Pawlett for Clark being the biggest factor but others raised their game after half time, no doubt.
