Believe it or not, the cricket season starts today! Despite nearly winning the title last year, Notts are in Division Two of the County Championship this season because the standings are based on pre-covid positions from 2019. A good effort to reach 214/5 after being 52/4, but once again the top order failed miserably. It doesn't seem a difficult pitch to bat on, so hopefully we can make 300+ tomorrow and stay in the game.
