We need to give him time the idea of 4 managers a season achieves nothing.

Nobody wants to be stuck in this league but its where we are and its a slog to get out we know this.
The PE Teacher/Trainee remarks just show the complete lack of any serious football intelligence or knowledge by those who say those things. So they are only making themselves look foolish.

I don't know, coming on here with your statistically accurate information and level-headed reflection. You need to sort yersen out, sonny!
I do apologise. I don't know what came over me.

Notts to be Champions by 10 points! COYP!

I do find it a bit embarrassing when fans talk about tactics. Granted, some will have had experience at amateur level and have more idea than others, but there's a cost benefit to everything you do and it will be a hell of a lot more complicated than most of us could ever appreciate. That said, supporters in the stands can and do recognise a good performance from a bad one, they know the difference between being on the edge of their seats with excitement and slouched whilst bored-stiff and above all, we can all read and make sense of a set of results and a league table.

For balance, the Swedish top flight - which somebody offered up as evidence of Burchnall's experience of all things bigger bettter and more pressured than what he's facing now - had half of it's clubs in 2019 averaging less than Notts do with six of them averaging less than 5k including the side Burch was managing. The big 4/5 in this league could probably beat half the sides in the Swedish top flight based on those figures and presumed spending power.

Gudgawd we were awful. Surely can't be any worse tomorrow?

We have signed some very good technical players, the problem is that most of them are short in stature and are being asked to mark players who are well over 6 foot tall. That's one reason why i think we concede so many from set pieces and lose out in midfield aerial battles. You can have as many set piece coaches as you like, but if we haven't got the players to out jump these giants then we may as well not bother with them....
