the player back, the fee being £16m, the player only joined Watford from Nice in January 2022.

Both Watford & Udinese football clubs are owned by the Pozzo family, Giampaolo Pozzo [father]
owns Udinese, Gino Pozzo [son] owns Watford.
There is no option in the transfer for Udinese to recall the player, the fee £16m paid to Watford from
Udinese injects money into the club, after Watford losing more than £60m of turnover , since
dropping out of the premier league.
