Plenty of Bradford fans think we are the club in for Jake Young. I can't see it personally. My guess is either Chesterfield or Carlisle.

It can't see it being us that get Young either as I can't see Notts matching the wage demands for a player that will generally be on the bench most the season.

Shame that MKD beat us to Swann but ultimately money talks.

You’d like to think we’re in the running.

Spend the money on keeping Jones and Crowley would be my priority.

I think they'll only stay if we go up. They're just too good for L2 and getting towards the peak of their powers. No idea why they'd consider joining MKD, which isn't even a sideways step as far as I'm concerned.

This week is going to be stressful. We're leaving it very late in terms of our targets, and from what Maynard said post-match, we'll sell if the right offer comes in, meaning we could well lose Crowley and Jones on transfer deadline day. That would be season over as far as I'm concerned.

It would be trust in the boards ambition for a lot of people as well.
If they were to be sold, and unless it's to L1 or above, then why would they want to go? As it stands we are as good a bet as anyone to get promoted.

As i said before, Crowley is currently in the best form of his career at Notts and prior to joining us he had been relegated with Morecambe and his career was on the slide. I'd like to think he reflects on that and gives us more time. There's no guarantee that his next team will get the best out of him like we have.

He was classed as being selfish & ball greedy by some at Morecombe, that could be down to the style of play if it didn't suit his. That's the danger when moving to another club

It would be our best piece of business this summer if we did. Up to Thursday I thought we can’t offer them silly money now I’m thinking maybe we should offer the 4-5k and a release clause to keep them happy as they're 100% worth it.
