More importantly I see that the Scottish Government is not calling in the stadium decision. They have kicked it back to ACC just saying that they expect ACC to "have regard to the matters raised by Aberdeenshire Council". ACC have said that "we will accordingly consider these matters and liaise with colleagues at Aberdeenshire Council on these matters as necessary"

Not sure what this really means re footpath etc
The next step will be for Aberdeen FC to demonstrate they can meet the 36 conditions the council has put in place.

Some are straightforward, like committing to ensuring there will be no deliveries at antisocial hours, but others are less so.

For example, one condition is that the stadium cannot be built unless people can cross the A944 safely – and that will most likely mean Dons asking Aberdeenshire Council for planning permission for a footbridge.

If such an application was tabled, Aberdeenshire Council would have to apply similar levels of scrutiny to a footbridge scheme as Aberdeen City Council has to the stadium application it has just approved.

The club must also reach what is known as a section 75 agreement with Aberdeen City Council.

This is when a developer spends a given amount of money on green projects near to the site to make up for green belt land lost on the site.

The club must also get a building warrant from Aberdeen City Council after detailing how the work will be carried out.

No Kingsford Stadium has announced its intention to bring about a judicial review into the decision - a judicial review request must be made by March 12 –

Thanks for explaining that, nice and easy to understand compared with a lot of the stadium stuff.

What happens if AC don't give approval for the footbridge, which given their stance to date is a likely scenario?

From what I have heard if Aberdeenshire Council reject the application for a foot bridge which is highly likely that they will considering they are against the stadium being built there, then AFC would have to take it to the Scottish Government who could overrule them.

I'm not a planning expert but surely objecting to a bridge being built will require completely different criteria to objecting to the building of a football stadium and is unlikely to succeed.

The NIMBY's still haven't raised enough money for a Judicial Review "NKS have now raised over £40,000 towards this action and is now seeking to reach our funding target of £60,000."

These W A N K S are wasting their time. That £40,000 should be donated to our transfer fund so we can buy another Cosgrove type player.......

I always find it funny when the W A N K S name gets used......when the biggest w a n k involved in the shuttle bus arena shambles is our phucking chairman.

Not sure either to be honest but I would imagine Aberdeenshire council will try to be as awkward as they can with AFC.I don’t think they will be able to stop the club from building a bridge but might delay it from getting the go ahead.

You have to smile any time we play in Inverness re : crossing the A9 - 2 Policemen stops the traffic and the crowd just walk across the main road to the North. - simple but effective !!

I imagine the matchday experience at Westhill would be as grim as it is in Inverness.

Walking along a dual carriageway and past a caravan park to get to a ****box stadium in the middle of nowhere.

So rebuilding 3 stands could be circa £42M.
With no revenue from selling Pittodrie and no training grounds.

Your showing the nett result is it is more expensive for the club than the move to Kingsford.
