At the end of the day, how long do we give these guys? 22-24 isn't exactly young in footballing terms. If they aren't cementing down regular first team places, or even looking like they may do soon, then we're maybe as well saying goodbye. Again, the SSB's have a boy at right back who's made almost 20 starts for them this season. He's now worth £5M. That's what we should be aiming for. Not guys who can only contribute to a few subbie appearances here & there because they're not good enough to start games on a consistent basis. It's a harsh reality.

this 100% if they aint good enough to challenge our midfield and forward line they aint good enough for a club aiming for more than fighting relegation or promotion every few seasons.
