How would that have killed them. I'm failing to understand
The phoenix team was already in place. The fans were there to follow them(no pun intended). The stadium was there. The eejits who put money in were in place
They would have been placed in the LFL then got up via the pyramid system anyway. So they would have arrived in the Premier for the first time round about the same time anyway

That wouldn't have killed them - would have just meant the new club starting where it should have done & not jumping the queue - agree Milne, AFC the league & clubs all totally shat the bed on that one though - but it wouldnt have killed them.
Some sort of new version was always going to emerge from under a rock so:
Not failing to remove the titles & cups won by the dead club during the 10 plus years the dead club were caught actively cheating (imperfectly registered but eligible my @rse you despicable cheating SFA cuunts).
Not ignoring the fact they are pretending to be the dead club & in fact actively encouraging them to pretend to be something they are not - i.e. a dead club
Not awarding the new club the trophies won by the dead club to carry on the pretence.
None of that would have killed them altogether either - but it would have been justice.
To be fair Milne didn't have much say over the last 3 - but by fuuck he didnt say a word in protest. Not a peep out of AFC at all (or many in scottish football - Turnbull Hutton RIP) which is also shameful.
Yet folk wonder why so many of us are totally & utterly fuucked off with AFC & Scottish football these days. Its because we are spineless, supine & subservient. Its fuuckin embarassing & leaves me cold...
They should have stuck to the rule that clubs wanting to join the league needed to have 3 years of accounts, and not allowed them to call themselves Rangers. The new Gretna club are called Gretna 2008, Sevco should be Rangers 2012 or New Rangers.
If they didn't get immediate access to the proper football leagues setup they would HAVE died. Ibrox would HAVE been sold off. It would be a shopping precinct now.
Anybody that doesn't realise that must button up the back.
As Maggie Thatcher would say
Just rejoice in the news
Glasgow Rangers died 2012
