Yes the calculation of wealth is very flawed and not indicative of a persons circumstances.
There are undoubtedly a lot of rich/well off pensioners, but even if we used the calculation of one fifth of pensioners have income exceeding £41k per year, it still leaves a hell of a lot who don't.
I'd rather they went after the tax dodgers, of which there are plenty, rather than target specific groups with more cuts.
