Valencia, who are majority owned by former Salford City shareholder Peter Lim, said: "We understand the concern but we believe it's more about fairness.

"It wouldn’t be fair for someone who planned ahead and bought a ticket early to pay the same as someone who waited until the last minute.
    Why wouldn't it be fair?

It’s capitalism. Unfairness is built in.

I see Aston Villa are rinsing their support too. Obviously Aberdeen are the greatest club on the planet but I’m fairly happy we don’t need to prove it at that level anymore

I saw that, even more expensive than Arsenal, who are known for taking the p out of their fans.

Hope Dave doesn't get any stupid ideas with pricing strategy for our CL games next season.

Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury James Murray says, "Over a quarter of pensioners have wealth of more than £1 million, half have over £500,000, and a fifth have gross incomes equivalent to £41,600 a year he says."
Murray adds that the winter fuel payment needs to be means-tested because so many pensioners that receive it do not need it - "that is a reality we cannot afford," he says.

    You free-loading, something-for-nothing spongers.

    Labour, eh?

“Wealth” - pension and house value does not equal disposable income
And those figures still seem exaggerated.

That said I know a lot of pensioners who don’t ‘need it’ but not sure it should have been first on the cuts list. They should raise the means testing level a bitty.

Any idea where Scotlands Labour MPs putting Scotland at the heart of government were?

Yes the calculation of wealth is very flawed and not indicative of a persons circumstances.

There are undoubtedly a lot of rich/well off pensioners, but even if we used the calculation of one fifth of pensioners have income exceeding £41k per year, it still leaves a hell of a lot who don't.

I'd rather they went after the tax dodgers, of which there are plenty, rather than target specific groups with more cuts.

Scottish Tories look set to defeat the government on the proposal to scrap the policy of free school meals being extended to primary 6 & 7 kids.

I know it's politics being played here, but this country gets stranger by the day.

Trump says immigrants are eating pets in Ohio.

Just think, this man could be President again.
