I read that the proposed site was at one time landfill. If that is correct:

Do they realise that the Charleston housing development hit a snag , when the southernmost part had to spend millions to clear what was once landfill ..

I hope they have done their homework.

The heed wifey in charge of this opposition thing better sit doon when someone tells her about all the seagulls we will be taking with us.

I say wifey, I don't know who is organising it but I just get a picture of a middle aged, English lady who thinks she is posher than she is, short hair, 2 small dogs and goes to zumba every thursday night.

Can they not get their popcorn from Costco, you know the big massive store on the edge of Westhill that must has at least 10,000 folk visiting the store every week.
    Just saying like!

If it's the wifie that was on the Facebook thing they had she is worth a dunt. In her 30s maybe early 40s?
Ideas above her station (ie a snobby c u n t) and would get a mixed reaction on WYOWYN.

'Worth a dunt'. Hardly the Sobchakesque poetry we've been treated to recently GB

They also make a statement about tonnage of waste going to landfill, whilst neglecting to point out that even if there figures were true it is an invalid argument as there already is a stadium called Pittodrie producing waste.

Building a new stadium will not generate new waste as it will mean that Pittodrie is no longer producing waste.

It got shut down I believe, but not before someone from the hat infultrated them and became a mod. He then changed the of the group to 'Westhill Against New Kingsford Stadium' (W A N K S).......Took them a while to click and not long after they decided facebook wasn't the way to go with their campaign
