I'd love a job like that where you get paid an exorbitant amount of money and all you have to do is look fatter than ever.
Have you seen any of the footage of the 11 v11 practice game at Pride Park this week. He didn't look any fatter than he did before the lockdown. Should we demand he gets fined?
Don't know how much he's paid because the club doesn't have to pay him Try a certain betting society. Derbys players have not had to take a pay cut they have had a three months deferal At least Rooney has played every game since he arrived how many as Dawson and Carvalho Plenty of players have moaned as you call it about having to play I could name a dozen who have told there clubs they won't be playing at all Don't worry your tiny brain about Rooney being fit he only needs his brain to play in the Championship
so, imagine the scene, approaching the last week of season, two teams in 2nd place (or 6th place) points wise - same points, same goal difference, separated just by goals scored. Facing a tricky final away game compared to 3rd/7th place side with an easy home game against a team with nothing to play for, what are the chances that the 2nd/6th place team might have a player fail a covid test, as an insurance policy
Easy (spectator) trips to Coventry and Rotherham next season then...and a third season in tier three for mighty Sunderland.
Although the EFL have voted to complete the season on an average points per game basis, there are still clubs considering fighting this and that's without the championship teams which would be adversely affected and with much higher sums involved.
Future seasons cannot be argued with.
Even in a successful, if Covid interrupted, season I think Coventry averaged less than 7,000 while playing at St. Andrews, mista.
In everyone’s interest for them to get back to the Ricoh and the Wasp’s chairman seems very much in favour of it now too..
Must be horrible, imagine us having to play at Stoke or worse...somewhere else on the Trent!
RA they have had it really rough at Coventry a season at Northampton and one at Brum . I hope for the fans sake they back to the Ricoh i like going there good stadium ( I saw Metallica there) as well as football. T hats what you get when SItu get into your club , we had a lucky escape with them a few years back
