We have no teams around us either barring third and fourth tier teams with the nearest top flight 66 miles away.
Killie is 22 miles from Glasgow, 25 from Hamilton, 30 from Motherwell, 20 from Paisley. Six of the top flight within 30 miles of each other. Obviously two of them have a far superior draw to most down near Killie. A bigger draw than their own home team unfortunately
The first day of the season I was selling TRF at the gate to the carpark behind the South. Every second bus that pulled in (signing the billy boys more often than not) was from Kilwinning, Ardrossan, Saltcoats, Darvel masses from Ayrshire. Id go as far as saying more than were from Glasgow. Killie don't stand a chance fan wise. So hats off to the ones that do follow them
