Well Moult started today so rule him out.

I heard a crazy rumour yesterday and it's a name I haven't seen us linked with previously. Surprised that he's still only 30 as he's been around for years or so it seems!

Would be a bit embarrassed to mention it on a forum right enough!!

Pretty poor planning to be starting the domestic season with just 2 (recognised) strikers.

he'll be gone in January after scoring 13 league goals in the first half of the season.

No point anyone trying to dress this summers recruitment up...it is absolutely disgraceful that our club haven’t recruited adequately for the first league match of the season.
At the moment we will struggle to score more than 1 goal per match and ultimately that is down to our manager’s recruitment and our chairman’s ambition levels. As stated previously we are only here to make up the numbers as our ambition has been truly revealed during this summers window.
McInnes stated he was very hopeful of a new striker in before the Rangers match...but as yet we will go with either Cosgrove (never a real goal scoring threat) or May (he honestly looks like he has chucked it). We can only hope that Mackay-Steven, McGinn or even young Lewis Ferguson can bail out our team during the coming weeks and months ahead.
I have absolutely no confidence in Aberdeen recruiting an adequate replacement for Adam Rooney and his goals return.
Let’s hope our defence are as miserable at conceding as our strikers are at scoring!

DM’s hands are tied. If baldy isnt funding the players hes after hes wise enough not to sign third/fourth options just cos the pressures on to fill a gap.
