Fitba is about goals, its about fun, its about a good day/night out, its about atmosphere. I got all that in the first of 4 games. A guy bought me a beer because i was wearing a Dons tourie. Would you get that at Anfield or Stamford Bridge. These people realise their fitbas nae great just like us and the HFL dudes ive met. But they back their team and dinna watch guffball on a sat instead of going to the game, they go to the game. Hats off. Richt fitba men/skeebs. I didnt see a group of chinese/japanese folks with cameras. I saw maybe 8-9k hardy c@nts supporting their teams. It was ace

So id pick a game in Aarau,Ellon or Rothes over London,****chester or Liverpool. And it would cost me f@ck all compared to what the guffball would.

    Good read Pacman !!

Contrary to what some people say about Scottish Football, I genuinely love it. The occasional header tennis and hoof tactics aside, you get some decent games and some great goals. The history of Scottish Football and its underdog nature draw me to it. The same can be said for other leagues too. I watched Hannover 96 as a kid while I live in Germany and also went to a few NEC Nijmegen games back in the early 2000’s when I visited the ex-girlfriends family. Each league is unique, each has a different vibe and most are really interesting to watch.

My views on English football have changed over the years. I originally got caught up in the hype, but quickly realised that it was no more better or poorer than any other league in the world. It has some talented players and some good teams, this is true, but it has plenty shyte players and plenty shyte teams too, just like any other league.

However, The EPL to me has finally completely lost it. The picture I posted up the other day of the catwalk at the Etihad just goes to show the direction it is all heading. Their fans don’t even care about the league cup or FA cup anymore because it has no financial gain to by overhyped and overinflated players. All they care about is either the EPL title, or more importantly, a Champions league spot. Even the Europa League is diddy to most of the fans of these clubs. TV has created a generation of ‘fans’ who are f*cking imbeciles, with shyte haircuts with no affiliation to their home clubs. Football to me is ALL about winning trophies (any trophy) and while the financial rewards are beneficial, it doesn’t put me up or down. I have come to loathe and I mean loathe English football. It has lost its identity and is purely focussed on the financial aspects. The end game has come and it has resulted in the EPL's television deals making the drama of a whole heap of crap teams, playing crap football, into artificial euphoria for their artificial fans!

I love Scotch (guff word) fitba. I love being an Aberdeen fan. Im not as huge a fan as others as i do very little away games. I support my team and advertise them at every opportunity.

I love people reffering to it as "tribal". Thats it. Real people and.real supporters. Hats off to the Aarau fans last night, hats off to Rune in Skien, hats off to Mustapha who supports Al Ahly in Egypt or Sven the IFK fan. The real fitba fans. It is "tribal". Guffball has lost its "tribalism"

    They are who matter.

Im an Aberdeen fan(ny). Im proud. I will never hide it.

Berwick v Forfar. Would love to watch that over Bayern v Arsenal

Enjoyed reading that Pacman. Love football away from the 'glamour' of the big leagues.

When Ryanair used to fly from Prestwick to Beauvais I occasionally went over at teatime, got there about an hour before the match and had time for a beer before catching the flight home. Left the house around 3pm and got home just before midnight usually.

Last time I was in Barcelona we went to see CF Badalona. 3rd or 4th tier at the time but enjoyed it more than I would have had we went to watch Barcelona.

Basel game is on telly here tonight so might give it a watch.

3-1 Basel. FC Zurich went up 1-0 too.

St Jakob Park is a tidy ground. The new Pittodrie should be based on that and nae Ashton gate

Just the measly 4 goals though. Need 8 over the next two games.

Day off today. See the sights of Bern
