Somebody's got to them on some fashion.

I'd imagine M'learned friends are becoming involved as we speak.

The ex Palace chairman said right at the start of this that no club would be able to do anything about it down there.

Diets relegated (zero chance of any restructure getting 11 clubs to vote for it) & Sevco massively pissed off & spitting teeth (statement incoming no doubt).

Sounds like a good result to me.

It’s a yes fae the Moog jury 👍😂

Hearts and Hamilton getting to decide about league reconstruction after Dundee said "yes".

The SPFL board has also committed to consult on possible league restructuring in time for season 2020/21 around an expanded Premiership model and has appointed Hearts chair Ann Budge and Hamilton Academical chair Les Gray to jointly lead a reconstruction task force, bringing in other football figures to provide input and support. The SPFL executive will provide all possible services and support to make the work of the task force a success.

The resolution also gives authority to the board to make a decision on the remainder of the Ladbrokes Premiership season and the board is committed to consulting with Premiership clubs before any such decision is made.

Sevco seething would be pure posturing.

Everyone knows that Celtic were absolute certs to win the league.

Not only that but they were absolute certs to win the league before a ball was kicked last summer.

Perhaps they should concentrate in producing a league set up worth watching.

To me it's a wasted opportunity. We should have tried restarting the season in August finish the league, Scottish Cup and the league Cup by end of November. Then had a winter break and restart a new season in March 2020, ready for summer football.

But there won’t be many Scottish clubs who will survive that considering their crowds are a huge part of their revenue.

We might be able to but there won’t be much of a league to play into.
Aye - could be a while yet.

I think the only option in those circumstances is to allow all the clubs to stream their home games live.

Allow Sky only to show the games they choose at the usual times, then allow the clubs to stream the 3pm Saturday games on their own channels.

Free for ST holders. PPV for everyone else including away fans. Pay via a firewall so cash goes to home club. No ugly sister coverage of all their games either on their own channels - fuuck them.

Not ideal but at least it would allow games to get played and the home club to get revenue. We can’t go until autumn with no games & no revenues at all - everyone would be bust by then.

The technology is there to do it - the big issue as anyone with Red TV knows - is the reliability of that technology.
