Sacking managers can be a good thing yes, if you replace them with a better manager. However, even if you do that, the incoming manager's performance will suffer from the transition. How many managerial stints of two or more seasons have their best results in the first season? Replacing the manager too frequently leads to poor (or even worse) results. Case in point... Notts County.

His win record to date puts him ahead of most recent Notts managers in terms of win records. Are you suggesting he has a League two budget at the moment? If so, what is it? If we're talking budgets I'm happy to do that... with numbers.

Klopp's win record with Liverpool is 60%... not sure why you're bringing him up. Who are the recent Notts co managers you think are better than Ardley? I'm interested.
Good misdirection there. You stared sacking managers is never a good thing only a few posts ago?!?! Now it is. Interesting.

Where did I mention budget?!? Where did you get that from?!? Trying to divert the point again since I never mentioned it.

We were talking win ratios and you claimed he was one of notts better managers because of his win ratio.

Is it just about win ratio then? Not what level they manage at which determines their ability?!

A chap I know manages a school team and has a win ration higher than Ardley. Is he a better manager?

Warnock and sirrel won’t have win ratios as good as Ardley last season, does that make him a better manager?

Klopp has a better win ratio, of it was worse than Ardley’s would Ardley be a better manager?

I’m not interested in following your latest diversion of which recent managers are better.

Let’s go with some of your statements :

“If you exclude the horrific situation he walked into as third (and terminal) manager in our relegation year, you really only have last season to judge him by.”
    Isn’t that ignoring his part?

“ His overall win rate is 40% with the club as a whole, making him one of the better managers in recent years”
His win ratio is at a lower level than any of the other managers. A level where we are a very big fish in a small pond. Why is that so hard to understand?

“ Sacking a manager is a problem. It's always a problem.” So not a good thing?

You're a charmer aren't ya. We're in vehement agreement (?) on Ardley as near as I can tell but so far you've accused me of being a sock puppet account, making excuses and arguing dishonestly (?) if I'm reading your screed correctly. Which I'm unsure of since there seems to be a bit of misunderstanding between us.

That being said, I think I'll call this one a day eh. Not feeling like this is a productive discussion with you at all.

Bar the fact I have openly stated multiple times that I would get rid of Ardley if not promoted this season.

But hey why let facts get in the way of a good story fellas, carry on.

I don't seem to be the only one who has noticed that you will bend the rules to whatever is beneficial to Ardley.

I just your love affair reaps it's rewards.
It's only a conflict of logic if viewed over one game. Once we reach a mere 3 games there is no conflict. Let's see where it stands after 10 games, if you patience will allow you to wait that long.

It also appears you don't recognise the difference between a score prediction and a betting tip bringing the odds into play. I thought 27/10 on a home win was the correct play, as so it proved.

As a fellow gambler I thought "lump on" was the clue , next time I will try and make it more obvious for you.

Lol I don't even know my password for my NCM account, so creating a second account and remembering more info is too much for me to cope with.

I only need one account to highlight how foolish you can look EP, that's been proven once again earlier today. Using a single to prove a conflict of logic , yet your theory falls down just two games later. Brilliant.

Now that's being selective in the extreme but at least you haven't misquoted anyone today. Although there is plenty of time still yet

Well, I'm sure Jampie will agree with every word of that.

The true acid test would be the views of some of angry mob to anything Jampie puts. I'm fully expecting CAP LOCKS to be used if anything positive is put#standard.

Will be interesting to see, assuming the pitchfork carrying yokels haven't already scared him/her off.

In other news our overseas correspondent says we are likely to see a CM and a striker join our merry band this week, trying to find some names out, but we'll have to see.
