This man is imo very, very dangerous.
So what is your qualified opinion for solving the problems in the Middle East?

Post it on here, just in case someone in power reads it and it?s something that no one has thought of before.

If I was pushed I would say that it needs a 2 state solution.

So - by what authority can he do this? Seems that it is flying in the face of international law.

I thought that the International Criminal Court had issued an arrest warrant.

'The Chamber issued warrants of arrest for two individuals, Mr Benjamin Netanyahu and Mr Yoav Gallant, for crimes against humanity and war crimes committed from at least 8 October 2023 until at least 20 May 2024'

Not worth the paper it is written on, or Trump ignoring it?

The US aren't signed up to the ICC, so they argue it has no jurisdiction in the US. They would also claim the same if Trump was to go ahead with this and would not recognise the legitimacy of the court. As US President he is immune from prosecution in the US itself, so he can do this outside international law without any fear of legal repercussions. International Relations would be in tatters though.

Firstly, thank you for your constructive post.

For a living I get paid to go into businesses that are decent businesses, but are failing in some way. The first question I ask is "why do you do it that way?" Nearly always the answer is because they've always done it like that.

If you keep doing something the same way and keep getting the same result, why should you be surprised?

Neither of us know what Trump's plans really are, but anything is worth a try. Seriously what country in the Middle East is Utopian?

As for the International Court, well they are there to amuse themselves and if they charged every politician when they commit an act that causes multiple deaths, there would be no politicians left to lead.

The IC is nothing more than a political gravy train, like the UN. I mean, why didn't they charge President Biden for his actions in Afghanistan that led to the deaths of 13 American soldiers and an unknown number of Afghanis?

I'll tell you what mine is, dissolve Israel, move it to the bible belt in the US, job done.

That said, he's clearly not president material by any reasonable measure. Whether you agree with their views or not, the likes of JD Vance and Vivek Ramaswamy are in a different league in terms of intellect and temperament.

Like you, I think his administration could achieve some positive, much-needed outcomes. If they can shine a light on government inefficiency and wastefulness, that could provide a blueprint for other nations (like ours) to follow. The same goes for illegal/uncontrolled immigration, which isn't even a left-right issue but more about the rule of law and integrity of borders. Time will tell whether the positives outweigh the negatives though.
No one right of Bernie Sanders is Presidential material though to the crazy left.
Joe Biden and the the dream ticket of Harris and Walz???? Really?
They do nothing but line their own pockets, create jobs for their useless cronies and keep everyone else downtrodden to protect their own positions.
    The Peter Principle in practice.

The one thing that everybody is missing is that originally both the Jews and the Palestinians were nomadic.
Strictly speaking, the land is owned by neither.

Seeing as you're demanding answers yet again, how about you practice what you preach:

    Over to you.
I thought I?d written that Elon Musk plans to save US$4 billion a day. My apologies, my typo error. I do make them. I was referring to his aim to get the US towards near zero percent inflation.
To be honest I had to go right back to see where I?d typed it.
The post was incorrect because of my typo.

I might be misquoting again, but those that talk about colonialism aligned with those that lived through the 60s and 70s with the unions ruining British industry and the poor quality of British goods might disagree with you a bit there.
