So they bought a club about to go out of existence, have taken it from a total wreck to one that just failed in the playoffs and they should now be making public apologies to us. Are you for real?

He has to say and sound like that, he has to present himself for his next job, even if he's about to depart this one

The supporters were brilliant today but evident was that nobody sang Stuart Maynard's Black and White Army. Even at the end when fans stayed. It's clear that only the deluded few want him here next year. Out his depth and put of time
    Goodbye Stuart Little

I don't think the Bros will dismiss him. OK he may have failed in achieving some stat they required but I think they will take into consideration the squad injuries (and their own negative actions - Jan window/DC replacement).

Commercially, they'll have to. Fans are voting with their feet.
And the man that appointed him is gone.

    Maynards mentality

Today we had to give it a go we had no choice .Ok we may have lost by 3 or 4 but we lost anyway and never looked like scoring. He is obsessed with keeping possession as a defensive ploy but with that mentality how can we win the number of games required. I dont think it made any difference that Didsy and Jatta were not playing. He didnt play Jarvis who is an attacking threat and we didnt put people in the box. The guy was told to improve our defence which he has done but the cost is massive. Today i felt we never tried to win the game. Yes probably a lost cause but we didnt even try.

Agreed. It should have been all guns blazing?but it wasn?t.

All this overload on the wings talk every match with no result is pointless.
Just get at them. It?s not hard.
Attack with purpose until you can?t run anymore.

Case in point is Mat Palmer. Such a good player at non league, but has looked so poor for months since his return.

Matt Palmer's interview after the game was so dull, it reflected how he'd been playing this season. He didn't seem to know what we'd done wrong and it was as though we'd just lost a pre season game not a play off match.

I have been saying for some time he is part of the problem but a sacred cow.
