On the GK front, Tony Caig has left to join up with Newcastle Utd. Utd currently looking for a new GK coach.

Mind when Caig was appointed to replace Alexander, it was something to criticise the club about but seems Caig has been a decent appointment and now got a good move to Newcastle on the back of it

It's an interesting one. Id say Seigrists performances have gone backward, however that may be personal due to looking elsewhere for a contract and have no bearing on the coaching change.

Really? Apart from a couple of brain farts I would have thought most fans would give a lot of credit to our current 4th position to our keepers many outstanding displays. Cant say I have seen much of a drop in his standards.

He was keen to move back to his native north east of England, its a demotion in real terms as he is going from head of goalkeeping at Tannadice to the Newcastle United academy.I suspect he will get a pay rise though from the Saudi Arabian state run club.

Bang on with that last bit GB. Not that it should have taken it for it to happen, but the war in Ukraine has sharpened the focus on exactly who these people are that are taking over the EPL clubs, their ethical suitability and their reasons for doing it. Eddie Howe is coming across a bit sheepish now when he's asked about this in interviews claiming he's 'only here to talk about the football'. Total bollox - he knew exactly what he was getting involved in and the ethical thing to do would have been to say 'Thanks, but No Thanks'. Instead he took the filthy lucre and is fast realising he is going to be tarred with the same brush now regardless. Serves him right.

Akinola gone back to Arsenal. Pathetic deadline day signing as predicted by myself the moment he signed. If we don't make top six this season it will be because of our failure to address our attacking deficiencies both in summer and, critically, in January. If we do make top six then it will be despite this rather than by good judgement. I think the piss poor standard this season and very poor Hibs and Sheep sides have aided our cause. We absolutely have to strengthen our attacking options in the summer or next season will be a struggle for survival.

That was a strange signing, we all had doubts about this one and were proved right, f cuking waste

Straight swap for Fuchs seemingly??? Eh, good ane.....

We gave him his first professional appearance in a serious futba match. Hooked at half time, if I remember correctly.

There are a lot of good things going on at Tannadice just now, but also, we have to hold our hands up to a few howlers.

Like other clubs loans don't always work for us, always gonna be hit and miss, Levitt is the other side of the coin

We've done ok since January, him joining coincided with us stabilising and going on a decent run since, outwith Celtic (late defeat at Celtic Park and the cup game) only livi have beaten us in last 13 games
