What's the point debating something that is total nonsense? he's at Elland Rd, he's been pictured in the new training kit, he's still in Whetherby, the Barcelona job is a one season wonder with elections next year, new President incoming with new Head Coach, do you really see Bielsa getting involved with that? thought not.

MB is his own man. Does things his way.

All you need to know is he stayed at Leeds last year when he could have gone to a prem or later liga team with a phone call.

He does it his way and we are part of his way right now

Precisely. But had Leeds already had his signature on a contract, as an honourable man, which I believe him to be, he would honour that commitment. Leeds have found it possible to provide contracts to two loan players, to enter into a further loan period for Harrison, and obtain the service of the Gelhardt lad from Wigan, and yet less than 4 weeks to the start of a new season, our coach has no contract. Laughable if it wasnt so sad (and typically Leeds and their "lastminute.com" mentality)

Even if he stays, not have had his signature the day after were promoted, and more or less at any cost, and the lack of a clear statement of intent that such a move would have made, speaks volumes for the rank ineptitude of our exec level staff.

You would think WTF if they ran the club true and proper they would have had this organized prior to the promotion.
Look if you get us promoted are you sticking around simple as that. The terms will be such and such we will get what players you need to see us forward so furth. It's now closer to 3 weeks of start no decent recruits and no signed manager if it wasn't us and another team we would be laughing our heads off.

Yeah, I mean look how useless they are, after just winning promotion back to the Premier after 16 years, with 12 points to spare, record breaking sponsorship deals. This will be the 3rd time we will have signed him, and the 3rd time he has signed in his own time.... after seeing the club attempt to sign the players he has identified.... but hey get on the click bait bus...

Exactly. And that is why up to here I haven't criticised the hierarchy of the club for not having him signed as yet. He is not like other managers that "need" employment and have to agree to terms to book a spot. If the club really really wants him, they probably have to give him the leniency to his timing. Or he will probably walk away and we WILL have to look elsewhere.

Not sure how you come by the "click bait" slur?

Bielsa may be his own man, and he may be in the process of signing for the 3rd time (and in his own time), but its irrefutably the case that this is the first time either he, or anyone at the club, from owner to groundsman and all in between, have been approaching games in the Premiership, so hardly the same scenario, and hardly worthy of the same process.

Also not sure how you come by the "seeing the club attempt to sign the players he has identified" statement. We have Gelhardt, and..........................err, no-one else new to the club (and it's not as though you needed a brain surgeon to work out that White was wanted, surely?).

Happen to agree with all of your first sentence, unfortunately all those facts do is point to a club that needs to prepare for a very different season to anything any of those at the club have experienced. Leaving it to less than a month before seasons start, not only to sign players in key positions, but to get the coach under contract, is hardly a mature, managed, controlled preparation.
