I interpret that 'silence' as affirmation. And speaking of silence It's been deafening at S6, it would appear the rumours that Chansiri is bricking it about FFP are true as all you have to show for the off season is an expensive Premiership crock with a bad syrup.

Oh, and McGugan's been given a free. xD

So you are slating Chansiri for sticking to FFP What an odd statement.

And how many 'premiership crocks' have the blades signed during the summer?

This sounds like another early call on one of our signings...

I'm questioning Chansiri's forward planning from the outset regarding FFP. It's created an environment now as to where Kickaball can't make the necessary additions to a squad that came woefully short of Chansiri's expectations last season.

Are you honestly trying to tell me you're not unhappy with your lack of transfer activity? Plenty on Owlstalk are.

"woefully short of Chansiri's expectations last season."

One of your funniest yet Katch.

As for being unhappy with transfer activity...personally I'm not unhappy at all, players will be along shortly & I'm sure they will be quality players that improve the squad...it's not always easy getting the right player in & I'd rather wait than get them in just to make up the numbers, we have people running the club that know what they are doing so I'm very happy to let them get on with it...however long it takes.

The thing is aussie you could have still been playing Hull now and you still wouldn’t have scored.

I’m looking at the squads that the three relegated Premiership clubs have, and they’re frightening. You can put a brave face on your lack of transfer activity as much as you like (rov getting excited about the prospect of another Watford reject I see) but you can’t compete with them. Chasiri would have known FFP rules but shot his load so to speak immediately, that’s not good ownership.

And I’m not gloating, because it’s all a bit disastrous for the competitiveness of our league structure. Even in our league I expect Bolton and Charlton to bounce straight back up.

About scoring against Hull...that was in that game, if we played them a week later it could be totally different, it's just how football goes, you know that.

I never look at other clubs squads, it's not that I make a point of not looking it's that I'm just not interested enough to make the effort, they've got what they've got & so have we, if they are better than us then so be it but I think we'll compete.

I've said this from time to time on here but for me it's all about the football on the pitch & being a supporter of the team, even that is a bit misleading because it doesn't have to be good football...I want Wednesday to get promotion, otherwise what's the point, it's a competition & any fan would want their team to do the best it can but...if we never get back to the prem then that's ok too, I'll still be a Wednesday fan & feel the same feelings as I do now win lose or draw.

The happiest I've ever been following the Owls was when we were at our worst on the pitch, the so called dark days of the seventies were just brilliant from my point of view traveling all over England without a care or responsibility in the world, outside of immediate family & friends SWFC were the only thing in my life for quite a while, I'm not a glory hunter(just as well really)I just love the 'being a fan' aspect of it all...all this modern day stuff where every aspect of club business is rammed down your throat on a daily basis is ok I guess but only in small doses for me...I hate close season, can't wait for the football to start.

If he's as good as the last Watford 'reject' - that ended up as our top goal scorer - then keep them coming I say.
