Was there a reason why we seemed to be signing a lot of players from Holland around that time? Snelders, Mason, Gillhaus, Van Der Ark, Van De Ven etc - that was the first Aberdeen side I really remember, about 1990 onwards.
How much would these kind of players be worth in today's market - Dutch internationals some of them. Were we punching above our weight getting players like that in, or were we still able to attract because we still had a 'name' in Europe at that point?
