I wonder why their reserve all their hatred for us when everyone else can’t stand the scumbags either

Well at least part of it goes back to our roots and our original name, of that there is no doubt whatsoever. It's a fact. No point in avoiding it.
If Dundee FC (their natural brothers the way they see these things) had voted against, there would be nowhere near the level of hate that gets put about by the neanderthals.

ST was chairperson of Premier clubs at the time. Think there was a groundswell of opinion that our ST should vote the way the majority of Arabs wanted him to.

However saying that, Sevco was promoted into the leagues unlike other clubs like Gretna 2008. Glasgow Rangers wasn't relegated - they went out of existence. Lest we forget.

    Your right Stoke
We are seen as a catholic club to them, and that’s why their hatred runs so deep
Stopping them winning the double treble wouldn’t have helped either I suppose

It's a bit of an elephant in the room that no-one likes to talk about because our message board at least is sanitised from sectarian nonsense and all the better for it too. But sometimes facts are just facts and you have to face up to them and that's one of the main reasons they have singled us out, plus as Jim Jam says ST having to vote with the fans wishes at that time and the publicity it caused.

What you have to remember here is that a lot of these Sevco people are not very bright, they learn sectarianism from their parents, and in turn they hand it down to their kids. It's not gone away. It's the one thing about Scotland I don't miss.

Means more games midweek, more distraction for league games, less chance of a first ever league championship
