No matter how you try and sweeten the pill if we miss promotion after the great first half of the season we had it will be a major disapointment. As for playing Mansfield in the play offs it looks like automatic promotion for them the way they are playing anyway.

Agree about Mansfield. Wycombe looking good too. Not to give up on it, but we need to make sure we keep ahead of Coventry and Exeter

At the start of the season, most people would have expected Luton, Wycombe and Mansfield to finish above us. The two surprises in the top seven are Accrington and us.

As someone said, Mansfield have got strength in depth - we don’t. The one striker we signed in January is out for the season, so we’re dependent on Shola and Stead staying fit. The good news is we don’t have too many midweek games left, so hopefully we can get the two of them playing most games. The alternative is to try and find a player without a club (like Shola was last season), but what are the odds they’ll be match fit?

Disappointing to only get a point today, but at least we didn’t lose. Got to pick up three points at Cambridge on Tuesday to try and close that 4-point gap to third, build some momentum again.
