So? BD alludes to "conversations" that went on in the summer, nothing more. It's what's down on paper that counts, and obviously Hull were clever enough to include some sort of recall clause, or Hobbs would be a Forest player until the end of the season at least. I'll ask again, if all you have to do is match whatever Reading have offered and Fawaz has billions, what's the problem?
