    I know I'm in a minority of one, but I really don't get this thing where a mountain or a hill is beautiful. I love Scotland as much as the next person, but I just don't get it.

    I think it may be the Green White and Orange and Blue and White colour schemes rather than the hill or mountain that does it for him

    If knowledge and education make me a pedant, so be it. Fact is Rothesay isnt an island any more than London is. You might not like that but it is correct.

    You should come up to mountain with me one day..or do a hill walk with my wife and her friends..I can leave you a contact for that no problem..

    The group they go with are amazingly nice people who like a drink and a laugh.
    Usually about a 4-5hr walk..it will open your eyes..the views from the mountain tops are amazing..the silence is the thing that gets you..
    May I ask have you been up any mountains in Scotland.

    I've been to Glencoe, stayed at the foot of Ben Nevis and I've been to Skye.
