fergus was celtics saviour, he looked after the short and medium term interests of celtic and he managed to convince celtics supporters that in a stadium that holds 60,000 they would need season tickets to see them, despite celtics largest league average attendance only being 37,000 and thier all time league average attendance being less than 25,000 historically. so clearly in marketing terms he reinvented celtic and was the catalyst for all the great times weve had in the last 20 years.
