What is this bad old Friday rubbish ?[/quote]

It was a competition that I won several times

The guy who ran it would have made mincemeat of you, matey - the rest of us are just too nice.

Imagine - being owned by a midget!

Good, as long as you two are going to play nicely!

Fridays was COTW day, which I'm sure you can work out what it means.
It was traditionally won by Ken if memory serves me correctly, although arguably Lassie was usually a more deserving winner

Edit: typical of lassie to get his reply in first!

You've been living in Hertfordshire too long, mush - slows a man down.

    Whats the saying?

'Herts Men - soft in bed; soft in the head'?

May have got that a little wrong...

    That is indeed correct SD
I was proud to be awarded the lifetime COTW award.
But of course this meant the traditional weekly award could no longer take place.
The midget made an elementary mistake...

Does this equate to being inducted into the FF "Hall of fame" ??

More like a 'Hall of Infamy'.

As in 'Infamy, Infamy, they've all etc etc'

I'm sure that by the end Jim had virtually overtaken you in the number of times he'd won it. But then he was breaking everything (and still is).
