Well I won't be going if there's a replay, that hill nearly killed me last time.

good draw that, but any home draw is,and just to go back to league, last season york struggled early on then had a good 2nd half to season and ended in play-offs,all we need is a winning run, which imo we are capable of doing,a bit of belief, winning breeds confidence, look at exeter and luton town.play up pompey

    Yes Gun - Great Draw

As it was in 1982 when they beat us at FP

    3 - 1

History has a nasty habit of repeating itself

LDB - I think they have a striker called Williams who is near or top Goalscorer in the Vanarama Conference ATM.

    Thye won't b e a pushover

Also didn't Danny Hylton play there a couple

I remember that 82 cup game well. My father, lifelong Gooner, came along. To this day he reckons Bobby Campbell told Pompey to throw the game in the 2nd half. League more important & all that. What I remember was Webb's thunderous half volley putting us a goal up & being in so much control & then just capitulating.
    Payback time!!

Brett Williams is a 26 year old Scummer Bc. Born in Scum he played for a Hedge End youth team, has had 3 spells at Rastleigh and also Winchester City. From Winchester he went to Reading, never played for them but did go to Rotherham and Northampton on loan scoring a total of 5 goals for the 2 teams. He then went to Woking on loan before arriving at Aldershot where he averages a goal every 2 games. Hylton did indeed play for the Shots for around 7 seasons. Another goal scorer where ever he goes. Don't forget both Webster and Butler have had loan spells at the Rec ground and Phil Smith is their goalkeeper and goalie coach
