Nobody claimed him to be a miracle worker nz, so if you're creating strawmen that says much about your arguments. I've never denied we could have got a manager who may have done better Swale, like McCarthy now for instance. But the fact Norwich were bottom of league 1 shows you what can happen. I'll appreciate nige for stopping the rot even if the footy was dull most if the time.

Totally agree with every word of that RamBam. Sums him up perfectly for me, although there was one more positive - 'gave that odious little git, Billy Davies a kicking...allegedly'. A daft thing to do I suppose, but probably my biggest guilty pleasure under Nigel.

Fascinating to see how well he does taking on a club 'on the up' rather than in decline.

P.S. Another positive, I think he also found us Chris Martin, but on the negative side, he didn't...allegedly...kick BD hard enough. ;-)

I was luke warm when he was appointed, but he did far better than I thought he would. Some on here did and in some cases still do award him credit for things that he didn't actually do. It will be interesting to see how he gets on at Burton - before there was no expectation, now they are expected to be challenging for promotion and that's a different kind of pressure.
