Surely you can't have it both ways?
They don't Aucks. I can see what Howie's saying here. It's about having the right set of players together and getting the team right. If you have 2 20+ goals a season strikers and you can't even knock on the back door of the top 6, there's an issue to be sorted out.[/quote]

Yes, but he DID get those players to score 20 a season, surely, even if it was also him who FAILED to get the others to perform.
In any case, how can players GET 20 goals if other members of the team haven't in some way supported them?
You can't just pick and choose.

We all know poor subs, tactics and a piss poor defending was the reasons we failed to go up
in my opinion only Watford had a better attacking unit that season
They went up we were nowhere near Gary bowyer should of lost his job there and then
Going back to the topic maybe I am being slightly ridiculous here but I fancy the whole 8 million or so will be reinvested in the team which in the long run will be so beneficial for us as a team
I am already starting to see lamberts signing coming good
the Marshall Bennett partnership is starting to look very good.

Fair enough, but if we're honest, we also all know those things DIDN'T apply THIS season.
Bowyer was sacked too late or too soon - not at the right time.
