    What happened next?

Clue: This one is especially "mirthful and hilarious".

I've got it - Saints went on to be a top 10 premier League side, whereas potless po**ey suffered the most humiliating fall from the top flight (ever) and found themselves floundering in the utter obscurity of Division 4.

In all fairness, that was way too easy - it was the 'mirthful and hilarious' that gave it away..

Ah the old Scum selective memory trick. Difficult as it must be with you having to function with your single brain cell, but the game is what happened next. You pinched our manager and he got you relegated. Then he came back and we won yet another trophy. Thats the "mirthful and hilarious" bit. Get it?

    Heartwarming.

Well the Scummer seems to have lost interest in his game so let's have a run-down of the scores.

    1. The "Legendary"Ted Bates statue. What Happens Next? Soon after it's unveiling to a fanfare of trumpets it is quietly dismantled and sold off for scrap. "Hilarious".

2.Ali Dia. WHN? Substitued. Dia was signed by Southampton manager Graeme Souness, after Souness received a phone call purporting to be from Liberian international and former FIFA World Player of the Year, George Weah. "Weah" told Souness that Dia was his cousin, had played for Paris Saint-Germain, and had played 13 times for his country. None of this was actually true, and the phone call to Souness was made by a fellow university student of Dia's, suggesting that he should give Dia a chance with Southampton. Souness was convinced, and without any due diligence, Dia was signed on a one-month contract. Embarrassingly "mirthful".

    3. The 1976 Scum Cup-winning team. WHN? See Daz's answer above. "Mirth

I heard that the left hand of the statue was sold to the US where it was used as part of a statue for Michael Jordan. Meanwhile, the right hand is in Newmarket doing a similar job for Lester Piggott!!

I heard the right hand was sold off for a statue of Abu Hamza, the left for a statue of Jeremy Beadle. The right leg was grafted onto a statue of Ernie Wise, the left is on display in a museum for celebrity midgets.

Correct Scou - apparently there is another statue now that bears a passing resemblance to a human being. The original had MM's head with added leftover body parts from a failed Dr Frankenstein experiment.
