I get why you recall the Rovers performance through such rose tinted spectacles now RR. You’re just happy that your little girl didn’t spend the match kicking the seat in front, looking bored. It is a good feeling and worry when you first take a little ‘un. Brilliant when it works out. My lad just was engrossed from his 1st game. My daughter will get in to it if we all go, but wouldn’t put up with week in week out.

So I guess you were buzzing when she turned to you after the game and said that was brilliant that that shower of ****e managed to bag a win

Hopefully we are off the boil against boro on Tuesday and lose, then turn up against you dingles to deny you the win. Sabotaging your chances is all we've got left to play for this season..

Looked a very small crowd to me. Fans getting on Browns back,I thought a bit unfair-yes he wasted at least two glorious chances but does look more match fit although i cant see him or Graham hardly ever scoring - neither have any pace,or take up intelligent positions they are both far too static. Brown is better in the air and better suited to "hoofball" than Graham IMHO. Plenty of effort that amounts to nothing, just the opposite of JR who put little effort in,but often picked out intelligent positions and regularly scored.

We were awful first half and would have been more behind against a better team. Just like opening goal against West Ham everyone stood off the MK Dons players outside the box for their first goal(not really Steeles fault though this time). Whatever Lambert said to them at half-time worked as second-half I thought we bossed it. Cracking goal from Bennett who played much better IMHO. The big worry came with Marshall limping off to be replaced by a very nervous Hen

Thanks, Bob. A discussion about Rovers! (See ClaretTony is living with Elvis in a double-decker bus on the moon thread).
It's weird about Henley, isn't it? There were times last year when he looked excellent. Presumably, he's one of those mentally fragile players who loses it completely once his confidence has gone. As I've said before, it's really hard to hide as a full-back, compared to some other positions. I thought he actually played well in the first 20 minutes against West Ham before everything fell apart.
Hanley, Marshall, Lenihan and Gomez (if we can keep him) look like the foundations for PL to build a team on next year.

First of all Dan I think you probably nailed it in one with my daughter perhaps her enthusiasm painted alot brighter picture she is sat with my now still chatting about the game now
this is her second match we won her first as well
    maybe a good luck charm?
Back to the match the first half was pretty dire stuff and it felt like nobody wanted to be there from players to fans
second half we were alot better and was a constant threat
Bennett is starting to look the part now and took not only his goal well but also takes a reasonable corner movement is pretty good too
Gomez must be signed up if we can he has pretty much taken on the creative influence role and this in turn has started to rub off on others in the team
defensively we looked slack and Lambert will need to pull them up on this before Tuesday
Marshall limping off worries me as Bob pointed out above Henley does look completely devoid of confidence.
